About us

People who have been through it, teaching what they learned.

Bluesky Advisors was started by former and current senior leaders who have worked through the business, financial and technology landscape from the inside. That experience is now available to individuals, owners and teams. Our purpose is literacy and education: helping you understand your options clearly before you decide.

Our purpose

Education comes first.

Big decisions about money, a business or a career are often made with half the picture, because nobody ever taught the rules or the vocabulary.

We start by teaching. We explain how things work, what the trade-offs are and which questions are worth asking. We say plainly what we know and where our experience ends. Then the decision is yours.

Who we are

Leaders who have done the work.

Bluesky Advisors is led by former and current senior leaders. We bring operating experience, not theory, from the organizations where these decisions are made every day.

Around that core is a small circle of practitioners who share one commitment: teach first, advise second.

Career

Life coaching

How we work

We explain. You decide.

Teach before recommending

We explain how something works before we talk about what to do with it.

Plain language

If we use a term of art, we define it. If we cannot explain it simply, we keep working on it.

Your decision

We lay out the options and the trade-offs. The choice, and the pace, belong to you.

Start with a conversation.

Tell us what you are trying to understand. We will tell you whether we can help, and where to look if we cannot.
